I am finally putting up my first post. I have spent the past couple weeks researching Podcast hosting, audio and video production, and now a blog host. I decided to keep it simple and just use Blogger for now. I can upgrade to something else as thing progress.
I have my first four interviewees lined up and I think I have a fifth in the hopper too. I am ready to schedule the interviews. One of the interviewees texted me last night asking when we're going to get rolling so that was the impetus to put up this blog.
The real trigger behind all this, though, was Lue Elizondo, vis-à-vis my wife. A couple months back Mrs. M. texted me a link to the New York Times article on Lue. After years of posting my story on UFO sites like MUFON and telling friends and family about my sighting I thought, finally, here's someone who can do something with my info. Maybe now this thing will finally get some traction. I emailed Lue through the To The Stars Academy website.
Several weeks went by and I heard nothing in response. I thought my message had fallen into yet another black hole, as it had for many years. Then on July 16th I was surprised and delighted to get an email from Lue. He said,
Greetings Mr. Marceau,
My name is Luis “Lue” Elizondo. I left a voicemail for you earlier. At a time of your convenience, I would love an opportunity to discuss with you your experience in Canada when you were with the U.S. Army. I have a little experience in this area and would like to learn more details about your observations.

I replied back and soon we spoke on the phone. Lue was very interested in the details of my sighting. He told me that this kind of thing was more prevalent than most people realized and that like me, many of the servicemen and women who had seen something had concerns about their reputations. They had be ridiculed and on occasion even punished for coming forward. He assured me this would not happen with him.
So that is what got the ball rolling on this project. I will write more about it in my next post.
