As I look up at the night sky I have been wondering more and more about what is out there. Who are they? What do they want from us? Why do they not make contact? What will happen next?

Alien Philosophy
This new experience, writing the blog, interviewing sighting witnesses, preparing for the podcast, has opened the floodgates to communication with other people on this topic. I have been inundated recently with new information. People want to talk about aliens. They want to share their thoughts with me.
Prior to this, when I have told people I saw an alien spaceship once, I have been met with the predictable skepticism and sometimes outright ridicule. But just in the past two weeks when I tell people I am writing a blog and will be doing a podcast and may be featured in a documentary, I have been getting a different reaction. I do not know if it is because people now know I am serious about this or if it is just because we have reached a point in time, as a society, where people are more open to the concept that perhaps we are being visited or at the very least there is intelligent life out there somewhere.
These are most often intelligent, educated people. They are people with regular jobs, professionals, teachers, executives, business owners, medical and mental health professionals. Not people who attend Star Trek conventions with their Spock Ears or Comicon in a superhero costume (not that there is anything wrong with that - to each his own). Regular guys and girls who take their kids to after school sports in the minivan while trying to maintain some semblance of an adult's social life.

I have been having conversations with people whom I would not have broached the subject of aliens with two weeks ago but I am now finding it is OK to talk with them about it. Most are engaged and eager to discuss it. I am then getting follow up texts and emails about interesting articles like observations of radio waves coming from distant galaxies, possible alien abductions, and greater efforts in the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI). The news sources are not supermarket tabloids. They are NBC News, PBS, and even Forbes Magazine! People are starting to take this subject seriously.
